SMS Campaign Management
A full campaign calendar of launches, promotions, back-in-stock, and segmented sends, written and scheduled so each text is measured against revenue. Managed campaigns average 14.2% click-through against a 12.39% benchmark.
A campaign is a one-off, timed send: a Friday launch, a 48-hour promotion, a back-in-stock alert. It is the most visible part of an SMS program and the easiest to get wrong, because frequency and targeting pull in opposite directions. Send too little and the channel never earns its per-message cost; send too much without segmentation and opt-outs climb. We run the calendar so that tension is managed deliberately.
What campaign management covers
You get a monthly calendar with the offer, audience segment, copy, and send time for every campaign. We build the segments in your platform, write the messages to your voice, schedule the sends, and report what each one returned. Klaviyo rates campaign click-through of 8.9–14.5% as “good” and 14.6% or higher as “great”; our managed campaigns average 14.2%, near the top of that band.
How segmentation lifts a campaign
Blasting the full list is the default that depresses results. Instead we segment on recency, purchase history, and engagement, then match the offer to the segment. A back-in-stock alert goes only to people who viewed or waitlisted the item; a win-back offer goes only to lapsed buyers. Tighter targeting is why per-send revenue holds up: Omnisend puts campaign revenue per send at roughly $0.15, and relevance is what keeps a send above that line.
Reporting you can act on
Every campaign lands in a monthly readout against its benchmark band: delivery against 96.6%, click-through against 12.39%, opt-out against the 0.6–1.4% “good” range. You see which offers and segments worked, not just an open rate. That feeds the next month’s calendar, so the program compounds. Campaign work pairs with SMS automation flows and is reported through SMS strategy and analytics.
Campaign management questions
Straight answers
How many SMS campaigns should we send per month?
Most ecommerce brands land between four and ten campaign sends a month. Fewer than four and SMS underperforms its cost; more than ten and opt-out rates climb past the 1.4% “good” ceiling. We tune frequency to your list’s response, not a fixed quota.
Who writes the SMS copy?
We do. You get a monthly calendar with copy, offer, segment, and send time for every campaign, written to your brand voice. You approve or edit before anything sends. Aoife Brennan owns campaign strategy and copy across all accounts.
Will frequent campaigns increase opt-outs?
Only if they’re untargeted. Opt-out is driven by relevance, not volume alone. By segmenting on purchase history and engagement, our managed campaigns hold a 0.6% opt-out rate, inside Klaviyo’s “good” band of 0.6–1.4% and close to the “great” threshold of 0.5%.
